Job Description

Pragmatics Solutions is looking for a Solutionist to join our remote team of problem solvers, creative thinkers and task ninjas. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver that is excited about getting things done smarter every time. We are looking for a candidate that wants to develop a combination of skill sets such as administration, digital automation, e-commerce, social media, digital tools, financial management, and customer relations to name a few. A diverse skill set, a passion for continuous learning, an undeniable work ethic and a positive attitude are the most important traits. This candidate should have previous relevant experience and be interested in learning new skills. To succeed in this role, they should be goal-driven, motivated by continuous improvement, and able to take on new challenges with an open mind.

We consider this role to be a start-up entrepreneur where you will wear many of the hats and be involved in many of the priorities that any start-up founder will experience. The only consistent element will be a constant change of priorities and responsibilities.

Potential Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client relationships, operate as a point of contact, and coordinate with your team working on the same account to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Process improvement – assist in the development of core business processes.
  • Support clients by performing tasks based on changing priorities and needs with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with the team in the development of key business strategies and aid in their implementation.
  • Research – use online resources to gather information for the company/clients and report findings clearly and concisely.
  • Tech support – a varied and changing list of technical tools for various projects.
  • Sales and marketing support.
  • Maintain daily communication with the internal team and with clients if applicable.
  • Always challenge existing practices in the pursuit of continuous improvement.
  • Have a vested interest in and be excited to play a role in growing a business.

Asset Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial experience or experience working for a small business.
  • Diverse experience (varied professional experience, experience living/travelling in other countries, interest in continuous personal development, etc.).
  • Related experience in business, customer service or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, GSuite, and project management software (Monday.com, Asana).
  • An interest in technology adoption and patience with new systems.
